7 1/2 Month Maddy!

Maddy is about 7 1/2 months old already. She had a bit of a nasty cold this week and had a couple sleep-less days/nights, but she's still up to some new tricks, including she:

Drinks milk from a "big girl" bottle (still learning to hold it by herself)
Sits up and plays toys
Creeps around on her belly
Says Ma-ma-ma and Da-da-da
Calls Lucy "Gggg" for "Doggy"
Can pull up to standing (with Ma-ma's arms for support) from sitting


She also celebrated Earth Day last week in her hippie outfit!




But, she saved all her big smiles for the camera when it was jammy time. =0)

Maddy 7 Month Sweetie!

Maddy had her six month appointment last week (better late than never!).
Here's the latest on our growing sweetie:
Weight: 16 lbs, 15 oz.
Height: 26, 1/4 inches
Head: 17, 1/2 inches
Wardrobe size: 6-9 Months
New Developments: Can roll both ways, creeps and nearly crawls, sits up with toys, squeaks, squeals, says vowel noises, jumps and dances
New Big Girl Steps: Rides in stroller & grocery carts without infant seat, said bye-bye to lamb swing and now sleeps in her big girl bed
New Foods: Apples, Pears, Peaches and Bananas
Favorite toy: Jumper-roo/Exersaucer

This weekend, Mommy took Maddy to a "Music Together" class. Maddy was enamored with all the kids and sounds. She made a few friends and didn't seem to mind that she was one of three girls named "Maddy" in the class! We know she's still an original. :0)

Hoppy Easter!

Our little rabbit had a very Happy and Hoppy first Easter!

Weather was a record-breaking 85 degrees for Easter weekend! So, the whole family packed up and went to the farm for the day for a nice long walk. Maddy got to see cows, sheeps, horses, pigs, and even little sheep babies!





Sunday, she woke up to a visit from... the Easter Bunny!
That silly Easter Bunny really made Maddy and Daddy work so hard for the basket.




Eventually, they found it... right in the middle of the bath tub! Silly wabbit...





Easter Bunny brought her some nice books, bubbles, toys and her favorite accessory: bibs! Now that her little legs are hopping like crazy, he also thought she would like a rocking horse built just for her size!
