Neighborhood Playdate!

Maddy hosted a Sunday playdate with some of our neighborhood friends on Sunday. We had four girls all around two years old and one very cute little boy who just turned three. The kids had a blast and the parents did too! Very fun!

18 Months!

Can you believe Maddy is a year and a half already? We sure can't! She is growing quickly and beautifully before our eyes. According to her 18-month check-up, she weighs in at almost 23 pounds (22 pounds, 10 ounces to be exact) and is already almost three feet tall! (32 and 1/4 inches.) She is developing a very sweet personality, squeaking and shrieking around the house, but turning into a shy, quiet little lamb around others. Here are a few other new tricks Maddy's been up to lately

*Better hand-eye coordination with eating utensils
*Putting words together ("Hi, ma-ma"; "Bye da-da-"; "No Wucy")
*Imitates most of everything you say
*Can point to and make lots of animal sounds on command/site
*Dances with her arms, hips, legs--everything!
*Likes "helping" around the house with the vacuum, dishwasher, etc.
*Masters all her puzzles and shape sorters now
*Climbs everything!
