Happy Easter 2011!

Miss Maddy had a great Easter weekend. The weather was beautiful (70's), and Maddy was non-stop action running around in the yard and taking "Wucy"for walks. Then on Sunday morning... the Easter Bunny came! Maddy searched and searched for her basket. Last year Easter Bunny hid her basket in the shower... this year he hid it in the oven! It was loaded with books, toys and candy (Maddy had her first Easter peep this year). EB was also kind enough to bring Maddy her very own easel! She spent almost all day drawing with her fancy chalks and crayons. We have quite the little artist on our hands! To see more pictures from Easter 2011, click here.

Maddy: 18 Months & Breakfast w/the Easter Bunny!

Maddy is a total doll at 18 months. She is a big-time lover, giving out lots of hugs and puckering those sweet little lips to give out kisses every day!
Other new trends this month:

*Being a book worm: She lost interest in books recently but is now asking us to read her stories again, which we love!
*Loves to mimic sounds/words (she said "strawberry" the other day), though she's still a bit of a "low talker" :0)
*Showing more interest in dressing herself and playing dress up by trying on mommy's shoes and turns just about anything into a hat!
*Puts words together (her favorite combination--"Hi, Daddy..."-- she even bats her eyes a little when she says this)
*Dances like a fool! She loves to put on a show for attention... this is a little new for Maddy, too!
